WHAT WE DID

We imagined Johnny Jewel music and Farah words floating in a dark 1980’s inspired universe made of neon lights and surreal glowing images. The music video depicts an intense psychedelic journey in the mind of two lovers who eventually meet up in a club and get lost in a trip where it is hard to distinguish reality from dreams.

The characters are carefully hand-drawn animated while the background and props are composited and animated in After Effects. It took us almost two months to fill the whole length of the song but we believe it was worth it!
